Guardian Puppies

These are breeding prospect pups that will enter an ALA breeder's program once the puppy reaches 12 months of age and has successfully completed health and temperament screening. A guardian program enables breeders to retain and share with you the best puppies of a litter while ensuring that breeding dogs also have the opportunity to be 'a regular family dog'. Each breeder will have different application requirements and expectations of their guardian families so please discuss these details with the respective breeder.

Pet Puppies

ALA breeders are required to retain puppies until 8 weeks of age. This ensures that puppies have the opportunity for appropriate socialisation with their litter mates. All puppies adopted from ALA breeders should be microchipped, desexed and age appropriately wormed and vaccinated. They will be accompanied by a health guarantee and are registrable with the ALA.
